Our 2020 theme: Crossing Borders – with special guest speaker Gavin Strachan
We’re back… we just can’t get enough of King’s Sutton. And the textile lovers of Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and central England just can’t get enough of World Textile Day!
The highlight of the day will be a presentation by lecturer in Asian textiles and geo-politics Gavin Strachan. In the textile world, Gavin is well-known as editor of Asian Textiles, the journal of the Oxford Asian Textiles Group. Join him at World Textile Day Central for a textile journey across Asia with 16th century English explorer Thomas Coryate.
Don’t miss World Textile Day Central in King’s Sutton. It’s a great day out! If you need the proof, here are some pix from past years.
